The great @nateadams741 during his signature trick, the Tsunami. This photo shows him at the last Vans Triple Crown stop in San Diego, December 2001. Just three months earlier, he showed that trick for the first time in a contest in Las Vegas, which was the first stop of the Triple Crown series, shocking everybody with the look-back and the breathtaking extension.
Unfortunately, after his gnarly crash during a backflip attempt at Metzger‘s house in ’02 (the one where he landed face-down into the ground), he wasn’t really able to perform the Tsunami for a while, since his clavicle separated right at his shoulder, making it impossible to rotate the shoulders properly.
