1998 — A year that would make history. This is Fro Daddy @emig47 looking at Pineman’s camera at the very first official Freestyle Motocross competition in Las Vegas 1998, set up by 4Leaf Entertainment the company that also brought to life the Vans Triple Crown, the Free Air Festival and the legendary IFMA-Series.

Even if it wasn’t technically the first competition per se—as @shanetrittler set up the first one at Castaic Lake in 1996 already—it was nevertheless the one that brought the most attention from the industry, the media and the people by having a more official setting, featuring the madmen from @crustysofficial like @sethenslow_thehardway and @therealmadmikejones as well as bringing in the racing stars @jeremymcgrath and @emig47 for judging.
