After listening to the amazing @whiskeythrottlemedia podcast episode with @beaumanley555 , I had to take another look at a certain picture that Beau mentioned when I was calling him up. It is this one, shot by Chase Wilson for MXMachine in 2003, where Beau bounced off his seat and did this Footplant in a Magoo-esque way at the @metalmulisha compound in Temecula.

This picture visualizes Beau‘s perspective on the lifestyle and culture around FMX when it was in its prime—freedom of expression, punk rock and the connection with other action sports which in a way have gone through the same thing history wise. All that without attention of the masses, clicks and algorithms in mind.
