Some FMX tricks are older than you might think. And here is another example of how much of an influence BMX was to FMX. Here is BMX legend @martinaparijo busting out a huge Double Can Indy on his CR125 in 1987(!) during a shoot for BMXPlus. The magazine called it MX Freestyle already, long before it became the official term for the sport. Who would’ve thought back then that these playful ‚maneuvers‘ would become so popular that riders were celebrated like rockstars in front of 50k+ spectators? Epic times.
